Understanding Your Lead Time
All Made to Order items have a 15 business day completion lead-time at which time the item can be picked up from our Sydney workshop. Should you wish to have your piece delivered, the agreed lead time will be as per confirmation email when the order was placed.
Can I change the delivery service I have selected?
Yes you can, please contact emelie@ofthisplace.com.au and we can arrange this.
Can you hold my item until I'm ready to receive delivery/pick up?
We can hold orders for up to 30 days after they are fully in stock and ready for dispatch.
Once this time has elapsed, a $100 per month storage fee may be charged at our discretion.
How will I know when my order has been dispatched and is due to arrive?
You'll receive a dispatch email once your order has left our workshop, and also communication from our delivery partner directly to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Some delivery partners may have tracking available, however others may not, as we utilise specialist furniture freighters who offer a more custom service.
What if I can't get an item up my stairs or an elevator?
It is important to consider not only your home, but the spaces surrounding it for access when buying furniture.
Checking the size of doors, stairwells and elevators is important to do before purchasing. Most of our items come fully assembled, however pieces such as beds and dining tables are broken down where possible to ensure ease of access.
